Having now bought 7 properties in 5 different countries and 4 currencies via Property Investment Deals I can confirm the following:

1. This is all part of long term “pension” provision for us so the deals have to work if my Wife and I are to avoid poverty in old age!

I've been dealing with Alan and his team for about 6 months and have been very impressed with their professionalism. They are very knowledgeable about the markets in which they operate, both at home and overseas, and are extremely good at guiding you through the complexities of the legal and mortgage processes, particularly in overseas markets. Whenever I ring them they always find time to help, even when they are busy, and I particularly like the fact that they always seek to streamline each transaction by re-using information I've supplied for previous deals. I originally met Alan and his team when I attended one of their buy-to let workshops. My wife and I have since bought 5 UK buy-to lets and three properties in Brno in the Czech Republic through them. Alan is probably the most genuine and honest bloke I have met in the property business. My wife and I have brought 4 properties through him in the past 12 months. I plan to up that to at least a dozen over the coming year and probably many more over the longer term. He obviously has his ear to the ground in the all right places as every property he has sourced for me has had excellent financials, one has had 58% capital growth in six months and a yield of 11.6% - and the area is STILL growing strong. I had put off entering the buy-to-let market for a number of years as I kept hearing "The bubble has burst! - Too many people into it and not enough tenants to go round"

I finally took the plunge in November 2004 and bought a one bedroom flat in my local area, refurbished it and let it out. I took an interest only mortgage and this gave me a monthly profit of over ?200. I have repeated this strategy many times with monthly profits varying between about ?100 and ?250.

After having bought about half-a-dozen flats, I read about Alan Forsyth and Property Investment Deals. Alan's strategy made a lot of sense and virtually mirrored what I had been doing. i.e. buying in areas that would provide high-yields from rentals and also good capital growth potential.

I engaged Alan's team to locate and purchase flats on my behalf, which they did succesfully. They also find local agents who look after them and find tenants etc.

They have now located about 14 properties for me, with a high proportion let out [some had tenants already]

From info gathered:Prices are running at circa 42-50k per sq metre.Only properties with 2006 build are a few sell ons without garages. Found this to make a difference of 1k eeks per month in rent.

XXX Co are pushing a renovated factory, looks awful at circa 37 k.YYY Co are pushing that horrible building near airport with prices between 37-47 k. (they want 3% as finders fee)
