Overseas property investment deals - Over the last 3 years 2006-2009, www.property-investment-deals.com has sourced a huge number of property investment deals - in Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Estonia to name just a few of the countries!

The markets were targetted where economies were growing at 3-5 times the rate of the UK economy as a whole, and where housing markets were at early stages – with finance markets only just opening up – offering huge potential, or where we could source very good below market value deals.

We always look for a combination of undervalued markets, growing economies, a stable legal and political environment, and significantly strong leverage – the rates of borrowing – available to foreign investors when choosing an investment in property overseas.

Having said this, just like in the UK, 2009 has seen some sudden changes in finance markets in some countries, which means you need to pay even more attention to detail when choosing your overseas property investment. For 2010, it is likely we will offer far less overseas deals - mainly because some the bargains in the UK mean this is probably the best market for us right now!

So at the moment, we have no current available property investment overseas deals, but will continue to review avilable opportunities - and work with sister companies, who can offer attactive opportunities in Europe and further afield.

We do still like Czech Republic - and there are some bargain basement prices in certain other countries eg USA, around Florida and in many of the other major markets!

As with any investment, and in particular property investment overseas, please do your own due diligence, and do some independent research before committing to any purchase.

Make sure you have a clear idea of the buying/selling costs and costs to finance, or sell, the property when looking at buying property overseas. Have a clear strategy and be sure any overseas property investment you make fits in with your overall strategy. It is very easy to go off track when you see what looks a fantastic deal - but be sure this fits what you are trying to achieve over the next 3-20 years. If you do this correctly you can do very well with property investment in overseas countries.

Currently they have 3 properties for sale - all distress sales allowing 25-35% off the true market values. And remember with 70% mortgages based on value available with borrowing as low as 4.5% p.a. in euros, this can be equivalent of 80-95% borrowing.
